Kelsey and Danny also spent the night on Friday.  Roger and the little girls slept out in a tent in the backyard.  They had smores to set the camping mood.

Courtney and Tyson got to go celebrate their 3 year anniversary this weekend (3 years).  We got to have Easton which was so much fun.  He is the happiest most easy going kid.  He just plays and laughs and has a great time.  He practiced crawling up stairs so he would have a new trick to shop his parents.  He was coming down with a cold or something and decided to wake up frequently throughout the night.  He and Grama got to have some quality time together!

This was the fastest girls' camp I have ever experienced!  (Of course, I wasn't there -)  It seems like Cassidy and Clair were gone about a minute!  They had a great time.  For Clair, it seemed like she had never moved.  Cassidy only had one day of bad allergies which the Cook girls are infamous for. 

Daddy Daughter Date

The tradition of daddy daughter dates seems to go in waves in our family.  Sort of like allowance.  It happens for a few weeks and then doesn't happen for a few years.  Anyway, Roger took Collette and Kennedi to Red Robin for malts and french fries.  They then went to the mall where they shopped and looked - but didn't buy.  This was a difficult concept for Kennedi.

Cassidy and Clair go to YW Camp

Clair Pilling and her family used to live in our neighborhood until they had to return to Canada a few months ago.  A very unfair situation to say the least...  Anyway, Clair is here in Utah for a couple of weeks and was able to go to camp with our ward.  They left today for Payson Lakes.  This is the "before" picture.  Stay tuned for the "after".

We went to Idaho this past weekend for Roger's 30 year class reunion.  While there, the girls got to feed the Knowlton's new baby kitties who lost their mamma.  It is a lot harder than it looks!

Activity Days

One of my favorite things is being an Activity Day Leader.  I have the girls that are 8, 9 and 10.  We get together a couple times a month and do various activities.  On July 10, we rode Trax downtown and went through the LDS church museum.  The girls really enjoyed it.  And then back to our house for sack lunches in the backyard.  Kennedi and Collette are in my group so it is lots of fun.

And then we could relax. . .

We had been consumed with wedding plans for so many months that it seemed very strange when it was all over!  It was sure a fun day.  Thanks to my mom who stayed with us for a week and did my dishes several times a day, scrubbed bathrooms and bought wallflowers for my house so it would smell good!  I couldn't have done it without her!

The newlyweds are all settled in Provo.  Danny has a job managing a fitness supply store.  He has another job waiting for him to start in August running the computer center in an elementary school.  He will also start at UVU in the fall.  Kelsey is going to school at BYU and training to be a pharmacy technician at Stone Drug in Spanish Fork.  She works with Courtney which I think is so cute.  

Summer is moving right along.  Katelin is working at Cowabunga Bay, a water park here in Draper.  She got their first "employee of the week"  and has been promoted and gotten a raise.  She also got in a wreck a couple weeks ago.  No more green altima:(  Gratefully no one was hurt.  Also, she was diagnosed with mono, so when she is not working she is sleeping.  Except for tonight, because she registers for BYU at midnight.

We could not have pulled this off without Marcie King and her expertise in decorating a room.  Something I have not an ounce of!  Also thanks to Margaret Lee and Diane Lym who helped drape the ceiling in a very short amount of time!!

Gorgeous Food Too

My friend Cheryl Pierce used her tremendous talents to put the food together, tasting and looking so good.  We had fruit flavored water and cheesecake with 3 different toppings.  Cheryl and I did food for the drill team for 3 years while Courtney and Cheryl's daughter Lauren were on it.  I learned a lot from her. She needs to write a cookbook!

We can't thanks Aunt Melani enough for the hours and days she spent doing flowers for the reception.  They were even more beautiful than we had expected!!!!

After pictures at the temple, we headed over to the church for a quick lunch with friends and family.  We had chicken cordon bleu which was really yummy.  Thanks to Julie Abrahamson for meeting the caterer and keeping everything running smoothly!

Backing up a couple of days to June 4th, Katelin graduated from Alta High School.  We are very proud of her.  She has worked so hard.  BYU here she comes!!

Collette turns 8!

On June 6th, our youngest daughter was baptized.  Amazing how time flies.  It was a very special day with so many family members and friends there to support her.
